CareerSource Capital Region Moving out into the Community

One of the ways that CareerSource Capital Region (CSCR) can move into the community with our limited resources is to partner with agencies that align with the services we give to job seekers. We have proposed and Leon County is deciding today to support a strategic alliance with the Leon County Library System. CSCR is excited about working closely with the libraries to provide access to www.Employflorida.com  and making all the libraries Affiliate sites for the CareerSource Brand.
The Libraries are located throughout the county and provide additional hours of access we cannot achieve with our limited funding. They are a known and valuable resource to the community.

CSCR will work with the librarians to enable them to answer basic questions by the job seekers and if they do not have the answer, CSCR will provide a single Point of Contact to assist our partners in resolving the question.

CSCR will also provide the Mobile Unit to visit each Library site on a quarterly basis to add capacity and provide needed information to the community. CSCR has developed many tools in a workshop presentation that will also be scheduled with the libraries.

Our hope as we begin this relationship is that we will also utilize some of the great tools the libraries have in their tool box, and enhance the choices for customers to learn and be successful.

Partnerships and successfully leveraging our resources together can improve the impact we both have in the community. CSCR is proud to work with the Leon County Public Library System in providing job seekers with better access and expanded hours within the libraries normal schedule.
